Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1979, she began her vocal studies at 15 years old with Inés Dupen and later with Horacio Amauri. Continuing her musical training she studied Orchestra conducting at the Catholic University and later she continued her vocal studies at the Colon’s Theatre Opera Studio.
In Argentina she has sung on the most important theatres such as Salon Dorado del Teatro Colón, Teatro Avenida, and Teatro San Martin among others. Her operatic repertoire includes Norina from Don Pasquale and Marie from La Fille du Régiment (G. Donizetti), Amore from Paride ed Elena (C.W. Gluck) Despina from Cosi fan tutte, Mme. Hertz from Der Shauspieldirektor, Blondchen from Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Adele from Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) under the baton of Emiliano Greizerstein, and Gilda from Rigoletto (G. Verdi) as well as many sacred music parts, such as Mozart’s Requiem, Saint-Saëns’ Messe de Noël, Bach’s Magnificat, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater among others.
She also took part in several Monique Zanetti’s Master Classes dedicated to French Baroque repertoire.
In 2003, she moves to Madrid, Spain, where she took several Master Classes with Teresa Berganza (Royal Theatre, Madrid), Robin Bowman, Jean-Pierre Blivet (Accademia Lorenzo Perosi, Biella, Italy), Ana Luisa Chova, Ruben Fernandez Aguirre...
She has been finalist in many singing competitions such as Luis Mariano 2007, Concours de Chant de Marmande 2008 and has recently won the 2nd price on the International Singing contest of Logroño (Spain) awarded with two scholarships offered by Maestro Dalton Baldwin on the Francisco Viñas’ Competition 2008 and the 3rd Price on the International Singing Competiton in Zamora (Spain).
In Spain, she has performed on the Teatro Real (Tardes con Donizetti in 2004 and Rossiniana alta en calorias in 2007 and 2009 both written and conducted by Enrique Viana).
She has given many recitals dedicated to Bel Canto repertoire on the Auditorio Conde Duque with the pianist Manuel Burgueras.
On the opera stage, she was seen as Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale at the Circulo De Bellas artes, Marina (Spanish opera) by Emilio Arrieta at the Teatro Colón (La Coruña) and at the Festival Nacional de Zarzuela (Arnedo), Blanca from Serrano’s La Infanta de los bucles de oro (Spanish Operetta) at the Palau de la música (Valencia), Amore from Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice at Euskalduna Theatre (Bilbao).
Furthermore, her interest in baroque music has brought her to groups such as “La Capilla Real de Madrid” conducted by Oscar Gershenshon with whom she has performed Purcell’s The Fairy queen, Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit, Haendel’s Foundling Hospital Anthem at the Palau de la música (Barcelona) and with whom she was invited to the South American Tour in 2007 organized by the Mozarteum Foundation (Brasil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay).
She has also appeared regularly with the pianist Laurence Verna in concerts dedicated mainly to the French chamber music repertoire.
In 2008 she won a Scholarship from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares for the Workshop in stage performance for Opera Singers with Gian Carlo del Monaco where she performed the Lucia di Lammermoor’s mad scene.
She has recently performed Mozart’s Requiem with the Orchestra and Chorus of the City of Almeria under the baton of Michael Thomas, and Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (Erste Dame) at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga under the baton of Lorenzo Ramos.
At the Auditorio Nacional of Madrid, she sang the soprano solo in Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Orfeon Donostiarra Chorus and participated at the Spanish première of the opera by Isaac Albeniz The Magic Opal. She has sung in a concert organized by the Teatro Real in Madrid for the European Opera Day, and was soloist of the Opera and Zarzuela Gala for 2009 the Prize winners of vocal competitions in Spain with the Orquesta de Radiotelevisón Española conducted by Adrian Leaper.
Upcoming engagements include: Le Feu and Le Rossignol in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortiléges conducted by Didier Puntos (a co-production between L’Atelier Lyrique of the Paris National Opera House and the Teatro Liceu de Barcelona), and Gilda in Rigoletto for the Roger Barat Theatre of Herblay (France) which will be conducted by Jean-Luc Tingaud (May 2011)...
